Tungsten major Almonty also delists from ASX
Having announced its voluntary delisting from the TSX effective July 31, tungsten miner Almonty Industries also intends to delist its shares from the ASX from September 1.
The company's shares will continue to trade on Nasdaq and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Almonty says low and declining volumes traded on the ASX as compared to that of Nasdaq led to the decision to delist its stock from this exchange. Besides, the financial, administrative and compliance obligations and costs associated with maintaining the ASX and TSX listings are no longer in the best interests of the company's shareholders.
Almonty continues to own and operate the Sangdong tungsten mine, in South Korea, and other operations and development projects in Portugal, the US and Spain.
