Engen was proud to participate in Transport Evolution Africa 2026, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the future of transport and fleet performance across Southern Africa through innovative commercial solutions, resilient supply networks, and trusted technical expertise.

As one of Africa’s leading transport and logistics industry gatherings, the event brought together fleet operators, infrastructure stakeholders, logistics leaders, investors, and solution providers to explore the trends, technologies, and partnerships shaping the future of mobility and commercial transport.

For Engen, participation in Transport Evolution Africa 2026 represented an important opportunity to engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders, deepen market understanding, and demonstrate how its integrated commercial offering supports transport operators in improving reliability, maximising uptime, and driving operational efficiency.

Throughout the event, Engen showcased its portfolio of high-performance fuels, lubricants, AdBlue solutions, fleet management services and extensive supply and distribution network across Southern Africa.

Tariq Ahmed, Engen B2B Sales Marketing Manager said: “Transport Evolution Africa provided an important platform for meaningful engagement with customers and industry leaders who are navigating increasingly complex operating environments. Our participation reinforced that transport operators are looking for more than products, they are seeking trusted partners who can deliver performance, reliability, technical expertise, and dependable supply to support long-term business success.”

Discussions across the event highlighted several key themes influencing decision-making across the transport and logistics sector.

Fleet reliability and uptime remain critical differentiators, with operators prioritising solutions that keep vehicles moving, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve overall operational continuity.

Digital monitoring and fleet optimisation technologies continue to gain momentum, enabling operators to make more informed decisions, reduce maintenance costs, improve asset utilisation, and enhance operational visibility.

Security of supply emerged as a growing strategic priority, with businesses placing increasing value on resilient supply chains and partners capable of supporting operations consistently across multiple markets.

At the same time, cost management remains central to fleet strategy, with customers seeking measurable efficiency gains and solutions that deliver value without compromising operational performance.

Added Ahmed: “One of the strongest messages coming out of the event was that efficiency, reliability, and supply resilience are becoming increasingly interconnected. Customers want integrated solutions that help them manage cost pressures while maintaining performance. This aligns closely with Engen’s approach to supporting customers through tailored products, services, and expert support.”

As Africa’s transport sector continues to transform, Engen remains focused on delivering the solutions and partnerships that help keep businesses moving.
