Chilean police raided the offices of state-owned miner Codelco to gather information as they investigated the July collapse at its flagship El Teniente mine which killed six workers, the company said Tuesday.

The mine has resumed operations in unaffected areas after the collapse triggered by one of the largest tremors at El Teniente. In October, Codelco, the world's biggest copper miner, said a geological change most likely caused the accident.

The company has said the accident will reduce production by 48 000 tons this year, lowering earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) by about $500 million.
