Proposed Sulphuric Acid Storage & Logistics Hub and Granular Sulphur Warehouse

PROPOSED BULK CAPACITY: 120,000 m³ Sulphuric Acid & 100,000 MT Granular Sulphur

Arandis, Erongo Region, Republic of Namibia

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW

ARANDIS POWER invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified local, regional and international companies, investors and strategic partners for the development, financing, operation and commercial utilisation of a proposed Sulphuric Acid Storage and Logistics Hub and 100,000 MT Granular Sulphur Warehouse in Arandis, Namibia. The facility is envisaged to provide approximately 120,000 m³ of bulk sulphuric acid storage and 100,000 MT of covered granular sulphur warehousing, supported by integrated rail and road logistics infrastructure, subject to detailed engineering, technical feasibility and statutory and regulatory approvals. The project will support sulphuric acid and granular sulphur supply chains for Namibia's mining and industrial sectors, with potential to facilitate regional distribution into the wider Southern African market.

2. STRATEGIC OPPORTUNITY

Arandis offers a strategic location within Namibia's established mining and industrial corridor. The proposed hub aims to strengthen bulk chemical and granular sulphur storage, handling and distribution capabilities, improve supply-chain reliability and provide an integrated logistics platform for industrial consumers.

3. OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPATION

  • Strategic investment and joint ventures — equity participation, project financing and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Anchor tenancy and storage — long-term storage capacity reservations and dedicated storage arrangements.
  • Granular sulphur warehousing and handling — covered storage, stockpiling, bagging, bulk handling and distribution services.
  • Sulphuric acid and granular sulphur supply and trading — product sourcing, procurement, trading and distribution agreements.
  • Throughput and offtake commitments — long-term volume commitments and commercial offtake arrangements.
  • Rail and road logistics — bulk transportation, distribution, fleet operations and related logistics services.
  • Terminal operations and management — facility operations, maintenance, technical management and specialist handling services.
  • Technical and infrastructure partnerships — engineering, construction, equipment supply and specialist terminal services, where applicable.

4. INVITATION TO QUALIFIED PARTIES

The EOI is open to established companies, investment groups, commodity traders, sulphuric acid/granular sulphur producers and distributors, mining companies, logistics providers, terminal operators and other qualified organisations with relevant technical, operational, commercial or financial capabilities. Interested parties should submit a concise EOI with company profile and registration; relevant experience; participation model; indicative investment/financing capability where applicable; estimated storage capacity/throughput requirements; commercial arrangements and contract duration; anticipated commencement timeframe; technical, safety and environmental credentials; and authorised representative contact details. Submissions must state whether the proposal is for investment, supply, storage, logistics, operational or other strategic partnership.

5. SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Interested parties may request the detailed EOI information package, including further project particulars and submission instructions, by contacting the project representative below.

6. EVALUATION AND NEXT STEPS

EOI submissions will be assessed on relevant experience, financial and technical capability, commercial viability, strategic alignment, proposed participation structure and the applicant’s ability to contribute to successful development and utilisation of the proposed facility.ARANDIS POWER may shortlist suitably qualified respondents for further technical, financial and commercial discussions. Shortlisted parties may be required to provide additional information, undergo due diligence and execute confidentiality agreements before receiving further non-public project information.

7. IMPORTANT NOTICE

This invitation is issued solely to assess market interest and identify potential investors, customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
