Investing In African Mining Indaba

Investing In African Mining Indaba is an annual mining conference and exhibition held in Cape Town, South Africa. The event is organised by Hyve Group and serves as a major gathering point for mining executives, investors, government officials and service providers focused on the African mining sector. The Indaba brings together stakeholders from across the continent and internationally to discuss investment opportunities, policy developments, technological innovation and sustainability challenges facing African mining. The conference programme typically features keynote addresses from mining ministers, panel discussions on critical topics such as energy transition, beneficiation and critical minerals, and networking sessions that facilitate deal-making and partnerships. Exhibition halls showcase mining equipment, services and projects seeking investment. The event has become one of the largest mining investment conferences in Africa, attracting thousands of delegates each February. Investing In African Mining Indaba plays a significant role in shaping discourse around mining policy, investment flows and the sector's contribution to African economic development. The conference has been running since 1994, establishing itself as a key fixture in the global mining calendar and a barometer of sentiment towards African mining investment.
