Through the Matrix Partner Program, comprehensive business solutions provider Matrix aims to take its safety solutions to market by partnering with trusted, established organisations within their fields.

Matrix Design Africa is strengthening its presence in the African mining sector through a structured partner programme aimed at expanding access to advanced safety and communication solutions across operations.

Matrix Design Africa director for general management and business development Alex Mac Donald explains that the company focuses on delivering specialised technologies for hazardous and underground environments, supported by a partner ecosystem that enables local delivery, support and integration. The partner programme is designed to align technology providers, distributors and service companies around certified solutions and shared standards of implementation.

One such partner is Pinnacle, working in collaboration with Ditsogo Group SA. Pinnacle head of mining and Ditsogo Group SA CEO Tebogo Mosito says the partnership focuses on delivering end-to-end digital and safety technologies into mining and heavy industry. The group services multiple sectors, with mining a priority, and positions its value offering around system integration, sector-specific expertise and local support to mining houses.

Industry body Association Women in Mining South Africa (AWIMSA) is also engaged in collaboration with Matrix. Founder Mamosa Modise says the organisation promotes the participation and advancement of women in mining through enterprise development, skills support and network-building.

The collaboration aims to link technology deployment with inclusive industry development, supporting both safer operations and broader participation in the mining value chain.
