The Morocco Ministry of Energy and Mines has renewed London-listed Talisman Metals' Fougnar licences – two exploration licences that make up the company's Fougnar project.

Both licences are valid for a four-year term to May 8, 2030.

Talisman, which will start a drilling campaign at the project in the fourth quarter of this year, is targeting about 8 km of strike length along known copper occurrences and at least two stratigraphic levels, where past channel samples returned grades in the range of 0.50% to 1.45% copper and up to 70 g/t silver.
