Support for mining recruitment in West Africa
A joint venture (JV) that aims to provide mining companies with a dedicated recruitment partner and workforce solutions across Guinea and the broader West African region has been formed in response to growing demand from mining operators for recruitment capabilities that combine international mining expertise with knowledge of the local employment market.
Headquartered in Guinea, Globe Trust 24-7 brings together specialist mining recruitment company Globe 24-7 and Guinea-based recruitment and workforce solutions company Trust Africa. The JV structure covers labour hire, technical recruitment, executive search and broader workforce support services to help support organisations navigating local employment requirements, workforce expectations and compliance obligations through a single partner.
"West Africa continues to play an increasingly important role in the global mining industry and we see significant opportunities to support both mining companies and professionals throughout the region. Together, we're building a platform that helps clients access the talent they need while creating meaningful opportunities for local professionals," states Globe 24-7 CEO Alastair Fisher.
For Trust Africa GM David Gozlan, the JV represents a natural evolution of its recruitment capability within Guinea, noting: "Joining forces with Globe 24-7 allows us to combine [our] local expertise with international mining recruitment capability, creating greater value for our clients and candidates."
Under the JV structure, Globe Connect 24‑7 operates as a mining‑focused recruitment business, while Trust Africa continues to operate independently across other industries.
