Their integration under Spaulding International combines this heritage with an expanded international manufacturing footprint and a comprehensive range of crushing, screening and materials handling solutions.

Headquartered in Perris, California, Spaulding International has access to manufacturing capabilities in the US, China and Taiwan, together with a joint venture in Italy specialising in high-pressure washing and screening plants. This international footprint provides manufacturing flexibility while drawing on the engineering knowledge and experience developed by both Spaulding and Minyu over decades in the crushing industry.

Two Established Names, One Equipment Offering

Spaulding’s history in the aggregate and crushing industry stretches back to the 1930s through founder George E. Spaulding. Spaulding Co. formally began operations in California in 1966, initially rebuilding cone crushers and assembling crushing systems for operators. The company subsequently expanded its activities into replacement parts, complete crushers and crushing solutions.

Minyu brings its own long-standing engineering and manufacturing expertise to Spaulding International. The company has a history of innovation in crushing equipment, holds several patents and, together with Spaulding, maintains relevant quality-control certifications. The combination of the two businesses is intended to provide customers with equipment founded on practical engineering, quality and long-term durability.

Today, the combined product offering includes jaw, impact and cone crushers, as well as screens, conveyors, feeders, wear parts and trailer-mounted mobile crushing units, enabling Spaulding International to serve a broad range of crushing and screening applications.

Engineered for Demanding Applications

The Spaulding equipment range demonstrates the company’s emphasis on robust construction, operational reliability and simplified maintenance.

The JC Series jaw crushers are designed for heavy-duty primary crushing and feature stress-relieved frames, premium components and a range of sizes to suit different applications. Reversible manganese jaw dies and protection against uncrushable material are among the features intended to support reliable production and extended component life.

Spaulding’s cone crusher offering includes the CS and CH Series. The CS Series combines established Symons crushing principles with modern engineering developments aimed at maximising production and reducing maintenance requirements. The CH Series adds modern hydraulic functionality and increased power density to support higher throughput and improved product shape.

The portfolio also includes IC Series impact crushers and VGF Series feeders. The impact crushers provide adjustable crushing paths and product control, while the feeders are engineered to provide consistent material flow and effective separation of fines ahead of primary crushing.

Equipment Backed by Parts and Support

The combined Spaulding and Minyu proposition extends beyond equipment supply. Spaulding maintains a substantial replacement-parts inventory in the US, reflecting the company’s focus on minimising equipment downtime and supporting customers throughout the operating life of their machines. Complete subassemblies can also be supplied where required.

Both Spaulding and Minyu have supplied crushing equipment and plants into international markets, citing installations across the US, Canada, China, South America, Russia and the Middle East, among other regions. Some crushers produced by the businesses have reportedly remained in operation for more than 50 years.

Now jointly headed by William Cheng and Jon Spaulding, Spaulding International brings the heritage of both businesses together around three principles: service, integrity and quality.
