Aim- and TSX-V-listed emerging multi-project primary helium producer Pulsar Helium has appointed David Young CFO and director effective September 21.

Dan O'Brien will continue as VP of finance after stepping down as CFO.

Young brings to the position more than 25 years' experience as an investor, operator and senior executive in energy, natural resources, infrastructure and corporate finance.

Most recently he worked as chief restructuring officer of Royal Helium, having guided the company through a complex court-supervised process.

"Young joins Pulsar at an important stage in development. His combination of helium-sector knowledge, capital-markets experience and public-company governance expertise will strengthen our leadership team as we advance Topaz and pursue a disciplined path towards development and long-term value creation," says Pulsar CEO Thomas Abraham-James.

Pulsar's portfolio comprises the flagship Topaz helium project, in Minnesota, the Falcon project, in Michigan, and the Tunu project, in Greenland.
