Invincible Valves is positioning its valve and flow-control solutions as a reliability-focused offering for industries where equipment failure and unplanned downtime can have significant operational and financial consequences.

Established in 1982 and based on Johannesburg’s East Rand, the company supplies valves and associated control solutions to sectors including mining, water treatment, manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation and industrial processing.

Invincible Valves MD and CEO Pam du Plessis spoke to Engineering News & Mining Weekly during the Electra Mining Africa event, held in Johannesburg from September 7 to 11, 2026.

She said the company’s product portfolio includes ball, butterfly, non-return, diaphragm, gate, knife gate, air and control valves, as well as actuation and control mechanisms. The company says its range is designed to provide customers with options suited to different pressure ratings, media types, temperature ranges and compliance requirements.

Rather than focusing solely on the supply of individual components, Invincible Valves says it works with customers to identify solutions to specific flow-control challenges. Its technical and projects teams assist with product selection and system requirements, while the company also offers after-sales support.

Stock availability and lead times are another focus, with the company highlighting the availability of selected products off the shelf, competitive pricing and its ability to supply specialised requirements.

Although headquartered in South Africa, Invincible Valves serves customers internationally and has established agency relationships across Africa. The company says these agencies operate as extensions of its business, with investment in technical and commercial support intended to provide customers with a consistent level of service.

Its internal sales team handles customer enquiries from its East Rand offices, while an external team engages directly with end-users and agents. A dedicated projects team provides additional technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Invincible Valves’ offering is ultimately centred on combining a broad valve portfolio with technical expertise and service support for industries operating in demanding environments.
