Aim-listed gold miner Amaroq has successfully commissioned a flotation recovery circuit at the Nalunaq gold mine, in Greenland, which materially increases the plant's recovery rates.

The process plant is now operating at design specification, with the gravity recovery and flotation recovery circuits operating well together.

Amaroq has produced first gold concentrate on site, alongside its existing regular Doré gold bar pours.

The comapny expects its overall gold recovery to increase from between 50% and 70% under the gravity-only circuit to about 90% to 95% following the commissioning of the flotation circuit - which materially enhances gold production from the same ore feed.

Amaroq maintains its full-year gold production guidance of between 25 000 oz and 35 000 oz, with the first half of the year's production on track to be between 7 000 oz and 10 000 oz.
