Having secured full ownership of the Tanbreez rare earths project in recent weeks, Nasdaq-listed Critical Metals Corporation has started with a 10 000 m diamond drilling campaign on the Greenland-based project, which represents a significant advancement milestone for the company.

The drilling will focus on priority mineralised zones identified through historical exploration, recent technical reviews and geological modelling.

The drill programme is intended to support resource expansion, geological modelling, mine planning and future development activities across the project area.

Ahead of the drill programme, Critical Metals constructed and commissioned initial project infrastructure such as accommodation and operational support facilities, with drilling contractors and support teams having successfully mobilised to site in the last few days.

Tanbreez is believed to be one of the world's largest undeveloped rare earth resources, containing significant concentrations of heavy rare earth elements.
