Canadian base metals explorer Yorbeau spins out subsidiary for Scott Lake
Canadian gold and base metals developer Yorbeau Resources has created a new wholly-owned subsidiary called Chibougamau Metals Incorporated (CMI) to unlock the value of the Scott Lake zinc and copper property as a dedicated standalone vehicle that will own the property and focus solely on its development.
CMI will be led by Terry Kocisko as CEO and George Bodnar Jr as president and CFO.
The Scott Lake project is located in the Chibougamau area of Québec and includes three distinct blocks - the Ouje claims, the Thundermin block and the Scott-Diagold block.
The company has been delineating the mineralisation on site and tasked SLR Consulting to provide technical recommendations for future exploration.
Yorbeau confirms it will explore financing alternatives for CMI while its own exploration focus is on the Detour, Joutel and Selbaie region of north-western Québec.
