Australia's Dundas consolidates, extends mineral tenure in Kalgoorlie

ASX-listed Dundas Minerals has consolidated its holdings along the Bardoc gold trend north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, having acquired nine prospecting licences contiguous with the company's existing district projects.

The company has extended its highly prospective Gemini-Capricon-Aquarius-Rockland gold belt that forms the now expanded Kalgoorlie gold project.

"This acquisition is a major step forward for Dundas. These nine licences stitch our holdings into a single, continuous position along a prolifically mineralised Eastern Goldfields’ structure, running from Rockland through Capricorn and Aquarius to Gemini in the north.

"Gemini brings historical high-grade gold results that warrant follow-up down the interpreted southerly plunge, located between mineralisation that remains open and ground that has simply never seen a drill bit.

"With the Capricorn mining lease granted, programmes of work approved and a drilling contractor engaged, we now hold the targets, the tenure and the opportunity. It is hard to imagine a better set-up for the drilling ahead," says Dundas MD Jonathan Downes.
