Andrada Mining confirms high-grade mineralisation at Lithium Ridge
Aim-listed Andrada Mining has confirmed further high-grade lithium mineralisation at Lithium Ridge, in Namibia, following the release of a third batch of diamond drilling results from the project.
The company has now completed the extended Stage One drilling campaign at Lithium Ridge, comprising 143 holes and 16 500 m of oriented core drilling.
The latest results, covering six additional drill holes, confirmed consistent lithium mineralisation from surface and at depth, while also highlighting associated tin and tantalum mineralisation that could support future polymetallic revenue streams.
Among the strongest results was drill hole LRD027, which intersected more than 9 m of high-grade lithium mineralisation grading 2.28% lithium oxide, including a particularly rich section grading 3.46%. Hole LRD024 returned a broader 13.27 m intersection grading 1.42% lithium oxide, while LRD023 intersected 9.64 m grading 1.24% lithium oxide.
The company says the results reinforce the continuity and scale potential of the Lithium Ridge mineralised system, with mineralisation now confirmed across multiple drill holes and to depth.
“We continue to receive exciting results from the recently completed drill programme at Lithium Ridge, conducted by our partners SQM. Intersection grades up to 3.46% lithium oxide near surface, demonstrate exceptional quality and scale, reaffirming our shared conviction in the potential of the asset.
“Having strategically expanded our drilling footprint to fast-track the definition of the geological system’s true boundary and economic value, these results further endorse our course of action.
“The additional presence of significant associated tin and tantalum mineralisation adds a highly attractive multi-commodity dimension to the potential project economic profile. Lithium Ridge is rapidly establishing itself as a standout project within Andrada's critical minerals portfolio in Namibia," says Andrada CEO Anthony Viljoen.
Following the completion of the drilling programme, Andrada’s exploration team will continue with logging and sampling activities to accelerate sample submissions and analysis turnaround times.
