Name of the Project
Adina lithium project.

Location
Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, Canada.

Project Owner/s
Winsome Resources.

Project Description
A scoping study has confirmed the project as one of the most capital-efficient, new lithium projects in North America.

The scoping study proposes openpit mining at Adina and the production of spodumene concentrate using the Renard diamond mine’s processing facility and associated infrastructure, which Winsome has an exclusive option to buy.

The proposed modification and restart of the existing Renard dense-media separation processing facility will enable Winsome to produce 282 000 t/y of 5.5% spodumene concentrate (SC5.5) on average over the 17-year active production period considered in
the study.

Yearly production is estimated at 1.7-million tonnes a year.

An additional four years of processing stockpiles will bring the life-of-mine (LoM) to 21 years, with LoM average production estimated at 256 000 t/y of SC5.5.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create 600 jobs during operation.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has an after-tax net present value, at an 8% discount rate, of about C$1-billion and an internal rate of return of 43%, with a payback of 1.8 years.

Capital Expenditure
C$350-million.

Planned Start/End Date
Not stated.

Latest Developments
The completion of the scoping study enables Winsome to advance discussions with potential strategic partners, including those in the electric vehicle battery materials supply chain.
