A winning formula: Stock, service and solutions
Leading South African supplier of specialised engineering products and solutions EMVAfrica was founded by Hugh Whitty in 1992 as Energy Metals. Five years later, Ken Perel established Multi Alloys with Whitty as a shareholder. E-Metals Cape opened in the Western Cape in 2003, creating a national foot-print, while ENERGYValves was launched shortly afterwards, quickly becoming a recognised industry brand. Over three decades, the group has grown into a leading distributor of corrosion-resistant alloys, stainless steel products and valves.
EMVAfrica imports, stocks and distributes premium industrial stainless steel, special alloys and valves. Its extensive range includes pipe, fittings, flanges, fasteners, heat exchanger tube, round bar, angle and flat bar. “Over the years, EMVAfrica has assembled an industry-leading team of specialists, enabling us to offer unrivalled expertise across our product range,” says CEO Graham Whitty.
ENERGYValves is renowned for its extensive stock of stainless steel and special alloy valves, actuators and complementary flow-control solutions. Backed by technical expertise and a deep understanding of corrosive environments, its products deliver proven performance across mining, water treatment, petro-chemical, power generation, food and beverage, and general industry. “As part of the dynamic EMVAfrica group, ENERGYValves is more than a valve supplier. We deliver complete solutions,” says Graham Whitty.
MULTIAlloys is one of South Africa’s longest-established suppliers of nickel alloys, duplex and high-alloy stainless steel, titanium and other specialised materials. Supported by strong product knowledge and international sourcing capabilities, the team supplies both stocked and hard-to-source materials.
Today, EMVAfrica continues to support customers across Southern Africa with quality products, technical expertise and dependable service, delivering on its commitment to stock, service and solutions.
