Aim-listed Tungsten West has reached the landmark milestone of starting production at one of the world's largest known tungsten deposits.

The Hemerdon mine, in the UK, is now undergoing its next phase of operational ramp-up to be the world's largest non-Chinese tungsten supply source.

Tungsten West is targeting full, steady-state production of 332 000 t/y of tungsten trioxide at Hemerdon by the end of the first quarter next year, following a phased restart process that started in 2019.
