Time for South Africans to collaborate to solve the electricity crisis

South Africans need to put aside their electricity differences and work together to solve the electricity crisis. None of us can function without electricity and wasting time denouncing Eskom does nothing to increase power supply.

Also, denying Eskom the money it needs to produce electricity sustainably will lower electricity generation capacity still further. The public and private sectors must combine to give Eskom every opportunity to complete its maintenance programme and to ensure that the national electricity grid is expanded.

The solutions that take our economy forward the most effectively must be adopted and fast-tracked.
