Tega Industries strengthens global position in mining consumables

Tega Industries is a global designer and manufacturer of critical-to-operate consumables for the mining, mineral processing and material handling industries. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Kolkata, India, the multinational company partners with more than 700 customers across more than 92 countries.

The company has built its business around working closely with customers to develop innovative solutions that address complex operational challenges. Its experience includes more than 50 years in mill liners, with Tega products currently used in more than 700 mills globally.

Tega has further strengthened its offering through the acquisition of Molycop, creating a broader portfolio of mining consumables and technology. The transaction has expanded Tega’s global footprint and positioned the combined business as a supplier of critical mining consumables, technology and process-optimisation solutions.

With more than 2 000 employees representing more than 18 nationalities, 10 global manufacturing locations and supply and service capabilities in more than 100 countries, Tega has established an extensive international presence.

In mill lining, Tega provides application-specific liners supported by customised design and condition monitoring. Its technical teams undertake product design and development, site visits, audits and wear inspections, as well as on-site installation support and ongoing performance monitoring. The company’s Tega DynaMax range is designed to improve liner life, reduce liner cost per tonne and reduce the weight of rotating mill components.

Through its combination of technical expertise, global manufacturing capabilities and customer-focused approach, Tega Industries aims to improve productivity and deliver solutions that support the operational performance of the mining and mineral processing industries.
