Mining veteran Mark Cutifani has joined the board of strategic intelligence and geopolitical risk analysis firm Horizon Engage in an advisory capacity.

With an unparalleled career spanning four decades in the global mining industry, Cutifani offers a wealth of strategic and operational experience to Horizon Engage.

Cutifani is most recognised for his nine-year tenure as CE of Anglo American, but his career includes senior executive positions at AngloGold Ashanti, Vale, Inco and TotalEnergies.

He joins Horizon Engage's advisory board at a pivotal time for the natural resources industry, saying that the firm has a unique and vital capability in helping companies to derisk their 'above ground' operations.
