Solexy is a pioneer in wireless communication solutions for hazardous locations.

The company’s experience in this field dates back to 2004, when it developed the first intrinsically safe barriers specifically designed for antennas.

This technology became the foundation of a product line for which Solexy is today internationally recognised and a global market leader.

Building on this expertise, Solexy designs and manufactures wireless communication and connectivity solutions specifically engineered for hazardous areas, enabling reliable data and radio communications where explosive atmospheres require the highest levels of safety and regulatory compliance.

Its product portfolio includes intrinsically safe LoRaWAN I/O nodes, industrial Cellular Routers, WiFi access points, antenna and Ethernet intrinsically safe barriers and integrated wireless solutions.

The products are designed and certified in accordance with major international standards, including ATEX, IECEx and North American HazLoc requirements, for applications extending to Zone 1, Zone 21 and Class I, Division 1 environments.

Solexy combines different explosion-protection techniques, including flameproof, intrinsic safety and encapsulation, with expertise in RF and industrial communications.

This allows the company to provide robust connectivity solutions for demanding applications in the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining, energy and process industries.

From low-power LoRaWAN sensor networks to cellular, WiFi and RF infrastructure, Solexy’s objective is to make modern wireless technologies safely available in hazardous areas where conventional communication equipment cannot be used.
