The proposed plant will have a capacity of 72 000 t/y of battery-grade manganese sulphate equivalent producing 50 000 t/y battery-grade manganese sulphate and 10 000 t/y manganese tetra oxide.

The plant will be supplied with concentrate from Firebird Oakover project, in Western Australia.
