Killi appoints start-up mine specialist Halliday as MD
ASX-listed gold, copper and iron-ore explorer Killi Resources has appointed nonexecutive director Hamish Halliday as MD effective August 24.
He brings to the position experience as a geologist, including 30 years of corporate and technical experience in the resources industry, having been involved in the discovery and funding of multiple large-scale mineral projects across five continents.
Halliday has successfully founded or co-founded a number of junior mining companies, including Adamus Resources, Gryphon Minerals, Venture Minerals, Renaissance Minerals, Alicanto Minerals and Blackstone Minerals.
Killi also announced the formal appointment of Brett Smith as technical GM, following a term as interim CEO.
Killi remains focused on resource growth and technical studies at its 80%-owned Lodestone iron-ore project in Western Australia, where Smith will support the company's technical workstreams and assist in maintaining the speed of project delivery.
The company also owns the West Tanami gold project, in Western Australia, and two gold/copper exploration projects in Queensland - Mr Rawdon West and Ravenswood.
