Nasdaq-listed Greenland Mines has formed a strategic advisory board with initial members Constantine Karayannopoulos, Thomas Abraham-James, and Bent Olsvig Jensen having been appointed.

The strategic advisory board brings together complementary capabilities across the full development pathway for the company's two flagship assets, global rare earth markets and processing and downstream supply chains.

Greenland Mines intends to appoint two to three additional members as it continues to broaden the expertise and relationships available to management and the company's board of directors.

Greenland Mines owns the Sarfartoq rare earths and Skaergaard precious metals projects, which are both advancing with technical studies, permitting, commercial engagement and integrated development planning.

Karayannopoulos, who is a former president and CEO of Neo Performance Materials, which sold Sarfartoq to Greenland Mines, brings to the advisory board 30 years' experience in the international rare earth and critical mineral industries, with his expertise spanning separation, advanced materials supply chains and capital markets.

In turn, Abraham-James has a strong record spanning exploration, public markets and company building, including through his leadership of a company called Pulsar Helium, during which time he demonstrated an ability to position critical resource projects within broader strategic supply chain priorities. Notably, he has prior experience on the Skaergaard project, having worked on historical technical programmes.

Jensen has proven Greenland mine operating experience from the nearby anorthosite operations in West Greenland, bringing to the advisory board knowledge of how projects must be planned and executed in close cooperation with Gleenlandic authorities, communities and the local workforce.
