Australian advanced graphene materials developer Adisyn has announced a transition of its MD Arye Kohavi to a nonexecutive director role effective immediately, while his tenure as CEO of Adisyn's semiconductor company 2D Generation will end on January 9 next year.

As part of a planned leadership transition, Adisyn has also announced that nonexecutive chairperson Kevin Crofton's role will change to that of executive chairperson effective September 7.

Crofton will remain a director of 2D Generation and 2D Radar Absorbers. The company says his transition to executive chairperson will provide executive oversight of Adisyn's strategic, technical and commercial priorities.

Adisyn has started with a search for a new 2D Generation CEO with extensive semiconductor industry experience and a proven track record in the field.

"The leadership transition follows significant success in establishing Adisyn's semiconductor technology platform, expanding its portfolio of graphene-based technologies and increasing engagement with global semiconductor industry participants. With these foundations now established, the board believes the company's strategic priority is to accelerate commercial execution and appoint executive leadership with the industry experience and track record required to deliver the next phase," Adisyn states.

Crofton brings more than three decades of international leadership experience across the semiconductor, advanced manufacturing and technology sectors.

He comments as Adisyn transitions from technology development towards commercial execution, the board believes this is the right time to evolve leadership structures across the organisation.
