Project Description
The brownfield copper project is intended to extend the life of the Antapaccay operation and increase copper production. The development includes a new conveyor to the existing Antapaccay mill.
Glencore’s October 2026 compendium lists indicative average life-of-mine production for Coroccohuayco of 148 000 t/y of copper, 53 000 oz/y of gold and 1.5-million ounces a year of silver.
The project is expected to extend Antapaccay’s life-of-mine to more than 40 years.

Latest Developments
On October 19, 2026, Glencore announced that Antapaccay had completed access agreements for the final blocks of land required for Coroccohuayco. This followed the receipt of the Modification of the Environmental Impact Assessment approval earlier in 2026. Work will now focus on securing the final permits.
