Consultancy Frost & Sullivan has named LGMG the world's leading seller of off-highway mechanical drive wide-body dump trucks for a tenth consecutive year.

Frost & Sullivan finds in a 2026 independent market research report on self-unloading dump trucks that there are 15 to 20 relevant enterprises in this industry globally, with the market presenting a highly concentrated competitive landscape.

"This milestone certification signifies that Chinese mining equipment manufacturers continue to lead in the global premium market. It further validates LGMG's deep accumulation in technological innovation, product quality and global expansion," LGMG says.

Currently, the global off-highway mechanical drive wide-body dump truck industry is undergoing profound transformation, the company explains.

"With increasing global requirements for green and low-carbon development, new-energy wide-body dump trucks are gradually becoming the industry's direction. Autonomous driving, remote control, intelligent dispatching, and other technologies are being rapidly implemented in mine transport. Additionally, large tonnage, high load capacity, and high reliability have become major industry trends."

Other leading Chinese companies supplying these trucks are TONLY, CXMG and SANY while international suppliers include Komatsu and Caterpillar.

"In such fierce global competition, LGMG's ability to maintain the top sales position for ten consecutive years fully demonstrates its comprehensive advantages in product technology, manufacturing capabilities, market channels, and customer service," LGMG says.

The company has established a comprehensive range of wide-body mining trucks covering 40-ton, 60-ton, 100-ton, and larger tonnage classes, with a gradual extension into new-energy variants, capable of meeting diverse transportation needs across various working conditions.

In terms of global expansion, the company's sales footprint now covers more than 100 countries and regions worldwide, occupying significant positions in key markets across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

LGMG affirms that it has always been at the forefront of the industry, having developed electronically controlled mining excavators and having formed partnerships with multiple autonomous driving and new energy emerging manufacturers. This has given the company a first-mover advantage in the industrial transformation toward electrification and "intelligentization" of mining equipment.
