Project Description
A feasibility study has confirmed a technically viable and rapid pathway to develop mineral sands using a domestic rare earths processing facility. ASM’s proposed demonstration processing facility plans to initially produce up to 1 000 t/y of monazite concentrate from internal by-product streams, creating an immediate domestic source of rare earth-bearing material.
Potential exists to increase production capacity to about 5 000 t/y through targeted plant upgrades and third-party feedstock processing.
