American Rare Earths evaluating best pathways to list in US
ASX-listed American Rare Earths says it remains committed to a listing on Nasdaq in the US and is examining pathways to achieve it, including a compliance listing as well as other transaction structures.
The company wants to pursue a route that delivers the strongest access to US institutional and retail capital, the most efficient execution timetable and the greatest long-term flexibility for the company and its shareholders.
American Rare Earths has tasked a leading North American financial adviser to support the board and management in assessing potential US listing transaction structures, market timing and investor-positioning considerations across each of the pathways under review.
In support of a Nasdaq listing, the company is converting its Halleck Creek mineral resource and reserve reporting to the correct framework required in the region. Halleck Creek, in Wyoming, hosts the largest known rare earths deposit in the US on a total rare earth oxide basis.
Additionally, with US President Donald Trump having signed Executive Order 14415 into law, which relates to securing defence supply chains and ensuring domestic acquisition of critical materials, American Rare Earths is engaging with the US government stakeholders on the implementation of Executive Order 14415, including the supply-chain mapping regulations required under Section 3 and the domestic-source qualification strategy required under Section 4, both of which are expected to be developed over the next 90 to 180 days.
American Rare Earths says the order bodes well for creating enforceable demand for US-mined and US-processed rare earths.
Meanwhile, the company continues to advance Halleck Creek through feasibility studies, permitting and development activities.
