TSX-listed Wallbridge Mining Company has advised it can return to normal operations at the Fenelon gold project and across the Detour-Fenelon gold trend property, in Québec, following an evacuation order having been issued by the provincial government on July 1 owing to wildfires in the region.

The Fenelon project site served as a base of operations for a firefighting crew that was actively managing wildfires in the region.

Wallbridge confirms that none of its operating facilities were damaged by the wildfires and that desktop and planning work on the project continued offsite during the evacuation order period.

The company expects drilling and other field exploration activities to resume by the end of August, making a full return to normal exploration operations at Fenelon ahead of a planned prefeasibility study targeted for completion late in 2027 or early in 2028.
