JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim-listed Vast Resources is in advanced discussions with a figure who will succeed Graham Briggs as nonexecutive director.

Once the new appointment is made, Briggs will assume the role of CE of Vast's Zimbabwe operations.

The mining company's South Africa-based CFO Pierre Joubert will also relinquish his position with effect from September 30.

The company, with operations in Romania and Zimbabwe, is seeking to appoint a UK-based CFO to succeed him.

These changes will have the effect of rebalancing the board and management in light of the company's growing operations in Europe.
