Project Description
The Sunshine mine is a primary silver project. SSMRC plans to revive the storied silver mines and build the country’s only large-scale, permitted antimony refinery.

The refinery is being upgraded to handle antimony – a mineral essential for US national security and energy resilience.

It could supply 40% of the US’s yearly antimony demand by 2028, increasing to as much as 80% by 2031.

In parallel, SSMRC is progressing engineering and feasibility work to restore the mine’s hoisting system, surface facilities and water treatment infrastructure.

The mine hosts an indicated resource of 3.3-million tonnes grading 1 067 g/t silver for 112-million ounces, with 165-million ounces in inferred resources. SSMRC plans to produce 6.5-million ounces of silver over 25 years, with production of eight-million ounces a year envisaged in the first six years.
