Project Description
Sakatti is a polymetallic greenfield project containing copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, gold, silver and cobalt. 

The mine design reflects the latest studies, and production profile which is expected to deliver 60 000 t/y to 80 000 t/y copper equivalent production from a state-of-the-art mine design with minimal surface footprint.

In March 2025, the project was awarded strategic project status under the European Union Critical Raw Materials Act, which enables it to benefit from the more efficient processing of permitting applications.

Latest Developments
Prefeasibility studies (PFSs) are ongoing, with the mine design reflecting the latest studies and production profile, subject to permitting and approvals. 

Anglo further notes that the Finnish environmental-impact assessment has been approved, with the Natura 2000 assessment progressing. 

The PFS-B is targeted for December 2026.
