Ramelius on track to reach 600 000 oz of gold production in three years
ASX-listed gold miner Ramelius Resources has updated its medium-term outlook, now forecasting an increase in production to between 560 000 oz and 610 000 oz in the 2030 financial year.
This marks an 11% increase in production expected in the company's October 2025 plan, and a 205% increase in production compared to the 2026 financial year's output.
Guidance for the 2027 financial year has been set at between 205 000 oz and 225 000 oz.
The company will spend between A$480-million and $570-million in growth capital expenditure in the 2027 financial year, including A$280-million on the Mt Magnet plant to position it for future production expansions.
Ramelius' growth plans are fully funded and will generate significant free cashflow - up to A$1.5-billion in the 2030 financial year.
The group currently has cash, gold and investment holdings worth more than A$1-billion.
MD Mark Zeptner says the company continues to systematically unlock the full potential of the Mt Magnet hub while derisking the Rebecca-Roe operation through permitting progress and advanced design work.
He expects the company to maintain its sector-leading all-in sustaining cost position at between A$2 100/oz and A$2 400/oz, despite cost pressures being felt by all gold miners.
"Our targeted exploration strategy, combined with operational and technical expertise, has driven an 11% uplift in our 2030 production outlook to more than 600 000 oz, reaffirming our position as Australia’s standout gold growth story, underpinned by a long-term resilient low-cost advantage.
"Importantly, we are delivering this upside in an exceptionally capital-efficient way, reflecting the quality of our resource base. Our A$35-million investment into Galaxy and Cue in the 2026 financial year displaced 5.6-million tonnes of lower-grade material over the life-of-mine. By the 2030 financial year, Mt Magnet is on track to become a top ten global gold production hub, with a 15-year mine life extending out to 2043," Zeptner states.
Ramelius is investing now to support higher production levels and evolving ore types. It remains focused on an organic growth trajectory by investing in exploration and optimisation of existing infrastructure.
