Name of the Project
New Ingerbelle expansion project.

Location
British Columbia, Canada.

Project Owner/Sponsor
Canadian mining company Hudbay Minerals.

Project Description
New Ingerbelle is a brownfield expansion of Hudbay’s Copper Mountain mine.

The expansion is designed to access higher-grade mineralisation and support the long-term production profile of the operation.

Copper Mountain’s mineral reserves, as at January 1, 2026, total 345-million tonnes grading 0.256% copper, 0.123 g/t gold and 0.65 g/t silver. Based on current mineral reserves, New Ingerbelle is expected to produce about 750 000 t of copper, 900 000 oz of gold and 5.5-million ounces of silver over its mine life.

Hudbay has indicated that the expansion has a stripping ratio about three times lower than current mining areas, improving the operating profile of the mine. Hudbay’s current reserve and resource update indicates that Copper Mountain’s expected mine life has been extended to 2045, with New Ingerbelle expected to contribute from 2028.

Potential Job Creation
The expansion is expected to preserve more than 800 direct jobs beyond 2040. The project will ensure the mine continues to deliver economic benefits at the local, regional and federal levels.
