Propak West Africa delivers strong industry response as 90% of exhibitors rebook for 2027
Propak West Africa has closed on a strong note, with more than 3,900 attendees visiting the three-day exhibition at Landmark Centre in Lagos to explore the latest developments in packaging, plastics, print, labelling and food processing.
The response from exhibitors was equally positive, with 90% already pre-booking for the 2027 edition. Covering 2,690 sqm, the exhibition brought together more than 200 exhibitors – including 67 local exhibitors and more than 115 international companies, with 21+ countries represented at the event.
For visitors, the focus was firmly on finding practical solutions to real operational challenges. The exhibition provided an opportunity to compare machinery, materials, equipment and technologies, discuss specific requirements directly with suppliers and technical specialists, and see new products and technologies in operation.
From automation and production efficiency to sustainability, packaging innovation and digital developments, the show provided insight into the trends shaping the future of manufacturing and processing in West Africa. The international mix of exhibitors also gave visitors access to technologies and expertise from across global markets, while creating opportunities to build new business relationships.
The Propak West Africa Summit was another standout feature, with sessions attracting such strong interest that the conference hall reached capacity and additional non-booked delegates could not be accommodated. The programme brought together industry experts and professionals to share practical knowledge and perspectives on the issues, technologies and trends influencing the sector.
The strong exhibitor rebooking response and demand for additional exhibition space have already shaped plans for 2027. An additional hall will be introduced at the next edition, creating more space for exhibitors and responding to the growing interest in participating in Propak West Africa.
The 2026 edition also saw the participation of Girls Who Print Africa reflecting the industry’s growing focus on inclusion, skills development and the advancement of women across the print and packaging sectors.
“Propak West Africa 2026 demonstrated the value of bringing the manufacturing and packaging community together in one place – with strong visitor engagement, an international exhibitor base and a conference programme that attracted exceptional interest,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Montgomery Group Africa, organisers of the show. “The fact that 90% of exhibitors have already committed to 2027, together with the demand for additional exhibition space, is a clear indication of the momentum behind the show. We look forward to building on this success and creating an even bigger platform for industry connections, technology and practical solutions in 2027.”
