Name of the Project
Pilot Mountain tungsten project.

Location
Nevada, in the US.

Project Owner/s
Strategic exploration company Guardian Metals Resources.

Project Description
The proposed project proposes the construction of a 4 000 t/d processing plant using flotation recovery methods to produce a tungsten concentrate. The ore will be mined from a conventional openpit mine using 92 t haul trucks and large wheel loaders.

The prefeasibility study (PFS) results show that using a conventional openpit mining method and base case tungsten pricing, the project could produce 15 916 t of tungsten over an eight-year mine life.

The project includes the construction of a conventional lined tailings storage facility that will meet the US and international standards for tailings management, including the Nevada Administrative Code requirements and Canadian Dam Association guidelines.

The PFS includes updated mineral resources and reserves estimates covering two project zones – Garnet and Desert Scheelite. Total mineral reserves total 11.8-million tonnes grading 0.171% tungsten, 9.28% tungsten and 0.28% zinc. Resources total 12.14-million tonnes in the indicated category grading 0.178% tungsten, 9.93 g/t silver and 0.29% zinc, and 2.3-million tonnes in the inferred category grading 0.150% tungsten, 9.96 g/t silver and 0.26% zinc.

Potential Job Creation
Not stated.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The PFS estimates an after-tax net present value, at an 8% discount rate, of $660.3-million and an internal rate of return of 59.6%, with a capital payback period of one year.

Capital Expenditure
Initial capital expenditure is estimated at $288.7-million.

Planned Start/End Date
First ore through the mill is slated for the fourth quarter of 2028, with initial commissioning tonnes marking the start of processing operations.

Latest Developments
None stated.

Key Contracts, Suppliers and Consultants
Samuel Engineering and RESPEC Company (PFS).
