New Leadership announced at BASF West Africa Limited

The world’s leading chemical company, BASF recently announced that Dr. Jean-Marc Ricca has been appointed as its new Country Cluster Head for BASF in West Africa Limited. Dr. Jean-Marc Ricca joins BASF West Africa Ltd. after more than 26-years in the chemical industry and six years with BASF where he focused on global strategies in emerging markets and global key accounts.  “I am excited about the new opportunity and look forward to enhance BASF’s West African footprint to the next level of its development,” said Ricca.

BASF has recently reorganized its market area focus on the African continent. African operations have been divided into four country clusters, Southern Africa; East Africa; West Africa and North-West Africa.  As Country Cluster Head for West Africa, Dr. Jean-Marc Ricca will focus on the overall operations of West Africa and business development throughout the region. He is based at the BASF offices in Lagos, Nigeria.
