Material handling equipment supplier Manitou South Africa is once again showcasing its latest advancements in mining material handling solutions at Electra Mining Africa 2024.

“We put our customers at the centre of everything we do by offering more than machines and attachments; we offer end-to-end solutions”, says Manitou South Africa MD Darren Hall.

Manitou’s customer focus at the exhibition will be complemented by machine and attachment innovations on display. Each has been engineered to reduce customer costs through increased machine versatility, resulting in faster operations, improved uptime and increased safety.

Previously launched at Electra Mining 2022, the impressive MHT-X 11250 mining telehandler is once again on display. The first of its kind on the African continent, this heavy load (25 t) capacity telehandler is ideal for all types of maintenance and servicing and has already proved to be an asset on several mine sites.  Paired with a range of available attachments, such as tyre and cylinder handlers, jibs, winches, forks and personnel cages, the MHT-X 11250 offers extreme versatility for a multitude of functions.

Additional machines on display include the Manitou MHT-X 790 and MT-X 733 mining specification telehandlers as well as the 2600R skid steer loader.

To maximise the potential of Manitou machines, a range of support services is available. From maintenance and training to warranty coverage, Manitou services provide peace of mind. These offerings ensure your Manitou equipment maintains maximum uptime, continues to comply with safety regulations and is serviced to original equipment manufacturer standards.

Come and meet the Manitou team at Stand OS: C13. Manitou SA is a subsidiary of the global Manitou Group, which is a leading supplier of rough terrain telescopic handlers and forklifts, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders as well as aerial platforms, offering a wide range of construction, agriculture, mining and industrial equipment.
