Part of Conax’s 2026 EMA showcase will be the FUDU CMR4 ultra-low profile face drill and the ConX-D200 Barbet robot demolition rig.

The narrow gauge FUDU CMR4 face drill is purpose-built for narrow-reef underground mining to deliver enhanced drilling performance, manoeuvrability and operator safety in low-height mining environments.

Conax says the innovative drilling solution improves safety, productivity and efficiency in underground mining, enabling mines to improve productivity in confined underground environments without compromising drilling performance.

Combining robust engineering with intelligent functionality, the FUDU CMR4’s compact design, remote-control operation and good manoeuvrability enables operators to work safely while accessing areas that are often challenging for conventional drilling equipment.

Featuring a 360º rotating drill mast, track-driven skid-steer mobility and a Doofor DF530F high-efficiency hydraulic rock drill, Conax says the machine delivers reliable drilling performance while remaining easy to operate and maintain.

Safety is central to the machine’s design, whereby the FUDU CMR4 incorporates full remote-control operation, remote diagnostics, pre-start warning systems, tramming alarms, multiple emergency stop stations and optional proximity detection system readiness.

Available in 380 VAC, 525 VAC, 1 000 VAC or dual-voltage 525/1 000 VAC configurations, the FUDU CMR4 can be integrated into a wide range of underground mining operations.

Meanwhile, the ConX-D200 Barbet demolition rig combines advanced remote- control technology with powerful hydraulic demolition capabilities, enabling safer and more efficient operation in hazardous and confined environments.

The Barbet is equipped with a high- frequency hydraulic breaker and features a robust design built to withstand demanding operating conditions. Engineered for remote demolition applications, the machine is ideally suited for hazardous environments.

A key advantage of the Barbet is its intelligent remote-control system, which provides operators with comprehensive real-time machine information. The remote display includes hammer speed, operating mode, hydraulic oil temperature, maintenance intervals, battery status, fault notifications and digital data logging, enabling proactive maintenance and enhancing equipment uptime.

The Barbet incorporates emergency stops on both sides of the machine and on the remote control, front and rear outrigger stabilisers, spotlights, area lighting and full remote operability.

Powered by an 18.5 kW electric motor and controlled by a Danfoss micro-controller paired with a Scanreco RC400 G3B remote control system, the Barbet delivers dependable hydraulic performance while remaining compact and highly manoeuvrable.
