Drive and automation technology provider SEW-EURODRIVE will use Electra Mining Africa 2026 to showcase its industry-focused approach and comprehensive lifecycle support strategy, demonstrating how it partners with customers from installation and commissioning through to maintenance, optimisation, upgrades and asset management.

At its main stand in Hall 5, the company will highlight how modern drive technology, automation, digital solutions and engineering services help mining and industrial operations improve productivity, reliability, sustainability and operational efficiency. Visitors can engage directly with specialists focused on sectors including mining, materials handling and logistics, facilitating technically focused discussions around specific operational challenges and opportunities.

Aligned with the theme Building Sustainable Partnerships, a key focus of SEW-EURODRIVE’s exhibition presence will be helping customers modernise existing plant infrastructure to improve efficiency, reliability, sustainability and long-term operational performance.

The company works closely with customers to assess legacy installations and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce operating costs and extend equipment life through technology upgrades and optimisation programmes. Services include drivetrain assessments, maintenance reviews, operational studies and energy surveys aimed at enhancing efficiency and overall plant performance.

At its second stand in Hall 4, SEW-EURODRIVE will focus on its electronics offering, its complete motor range and on-site energy survey capabilities. Demonstrations will show how advanced assessment tools can be used to evaluate plant performance, identify inefficiencies and support improved energy management.

The company will also showcase its expanding South African service capability including aftermarket support, repair services and reverse engineering expertise. Its Aeroton facility in Johannesburg supports both SEW-EURODRIVE products and equipment from other original-equipment manufacturers, helping customers restore, upgrade and extend the life of critical assets.

SEW-EURODRIVE’s participation at Electra Mining Africa 2026 reinforces its commitment to supporting mining, industrial, infrastructure and power generation sectors through advanced technology, technical expertise and long-term customer partnerships focused on improved asset performance and operational efficiency.
