IGO makes new board appointment

Battery metals company IGO has appointed resources and infrastructure executive Dean Jenkins as a nonexecutive director, effective immediately.

Jenkins brings global experience across the transport, manufacturing, engineering, energy and resources sectors. He holds engineering qualifications and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He currently serves as nonexecutive chair of Spark Infrastructure and as a nonexecutive director of Alinta Energy. His prior board roles include directorships at ASX-listed Adbri and Waste Services Group.

Jenkins has also held senior executive positions including MD and CEO of MaxiTRANS, COO and executive director of Weir Group and CEO of UGL Rail.
