Iron-ore developer Hawsons Iron has appointed Tom Revy as CEO, replacing Bryan Granzien who is retiring.

Revy has more than 35 years’ experience in the resources sector, having previously held senior roles at MIM Holdings, GRD Minproc and Worley Parson.

His most recent role was MD of ASX-listed graphite developer Evion Group.

“Having completed the strategic review’s recommended value engineering and resource confirmation and definition drilling programmes, the board considers Tom’s appointment critical for completion of our proposed bankable feasibility study and the commencement of project construction,” said chairperson Jeremy Kirkwood.

The Hawsons iron project has been granted major project status by the federal government and significant project status in both New South Wales and South Australia.
