Africa-focused lithium exploration and development company Atlantic Lithium says nonexecutive director Stuart Crow will step down with immediate effect to focus on his other business interests.

He has served on the Atlantic board for ten years.

Atlantic states that, as the company's leadership team continues to take shape with the focus on first production from its flagship Ewoyaa project, in Ghana, Crow has decided to step back from his role to focus on his other business ventures.

"Stu has served as a highly valued member of the Atlantic board for over a decade. In this time, he has played a significant role in the company's ability to weather commodity and market cycles and his insights have been vital in advancing the company from junior multi-commodity explorer to near-term lithium producer.

"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Stu for the considerable contributions he has made towards the growth of the company. We wish him every success in all his business endeavours," Atlantic chairperson Neil Herbert says.

Aim- and ASX-listed Atlantic hold lithium projects in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire.
