London-listed Blencowe Resources has reported that the company has decided not to engage the company’s former CEO Mike Ralston as a consultant and says all performance shares and share options held by him have lapsed.

As previously reported in Mining Weekly on September 14, Ralston had resigned as CEO with immediate effect.

The company initially said the former CEO would continue to support the company on a full-time consultancy basis until his planned retirement at the end of the year, including progressing the ongoing Phase 1 funding process and other key workstreams at the company’s Orom-Cross graphite project, in Uganda.

Blencowe says its board remains focused on the continued advancement of the Orom-Cross graphite project, with Iain Wearing continuing to lead the project.
