South Africa’s leading technology company, BCX, has launched a new division under its information technology (IT) solutions portfolio to advise its clients on digital transformation solutions and co-create such solutions with its clients.

BCX Exa boasts a selected team of software engineers and other digital experts that will focus on digital advisory and consulting, software engineering and integration, digital automation and development, data insights and intelligence and digital resourcing.

The main aim of the digital wing of BCX is to guide businesses in their digital transformation journeys to deliver specific optimal business outcomes using a collaborative approach leveraging BCX’s end-to-end IT and telco capabilities, says BCX CEO Jonas Bogoshi.

“For businesses to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, BCX believes it requires dedication to build an ecosystem that enables effortless innovation. With favourable regulation and an appetite for innovation, there is nothing holding us back from using these transformative technologies today,” he explains.

“We are poised for a future where our fundamental industries will be revolutionised and it is imperative that we harness this innovation.”

BCX Exa will provide go-to-market solutions, as well as digital journeys that map out processes and solutions for integration and conectedness within a business,

simplifying operations and deliver innovative and market-leading products and services, while streamlining cross-functional processes and enhancing the customer experience.

“Our approach is fresh and modern, delivered with an entrepreneurial spirit, leading with technologies like robotic process automation, intelligent integration and cloud native software engineering,” says BCX Exa managing executive Renesh Buldeo.

Using BCX Exa’s collaborative approach, the team will help businesses achieve their digital transformation goals that lead to benefits like improved operational efficiency and business performance, as well as enhanced customer experience.

Covid Connections

Since inception, the division has already co-created ground-breaking solutions such as the COVIDConnect solution for the Department of Health (DoH).

Last month, BCX and the DoH partnered to launch the contact tracing technology that aims to fast-track the containment of Covid-19.

COVIDConnect uses several data sources from laboratories, healthcare facilities and screening services offered through WhatsApp to locate primary infected individuals, as well as close contacts.

The solution provides the DoH with a visual of the most affected areas in the country.
