Cementation Africa

Cementation Africa is a specialist underground mining contractor operating across the African continent. The company provides shaft-sinking, raise-boring, underground development and contract mining services to the mining industry. Cementation Africa is a subsidiary of Murray & Roberts, a South African engineering and construction group. The company has extensive experience in hard-rock mining environments and has worked on projects across multiple commodities including gold, platinum, copper and other minerals. Its core competencies include vertical and decline shaft construction, lateral development, reef mining and mine rehabilitation. Cementation Africa operates primarily in South Africa and has undertaken projects in other African countries including Zambia and Ghana. The company's services are critical to the development of new underground mines and the expansion of existing operations. Cementation Africa has built a reputation for technical expertise in challenging geological conditions and deep-level mining.
