Project Description
The Wouterspan project is located opposite Rockwell’s Saxendrift diamond mine, on the Orange river, and is central to Rockwell’s strategy to process 500 000 m3/m of high-quality gravels from the Middle Orange river region.

The property has estimated inferred resources of 37.77-million cubic metres and indicated resources estimated at 5.026-million cubic metres, grading 0.84%.

Envisaged is a plant with a capacity of 1 200 t/h or 354 000 m3/m, comprising three processing streams – two Bourevestnik Bulk X-ray systems, such as those implemented by the company at its Middle Orange river operations to handle the coarse and midsized gravels, and a dense-media separation stream to process fine material.

$42-million, including a 25% contingency.
